Climate

Tropical, Barrackpore is warm and humid most of the year around. However, the winter months, say, from November to February are cool, sunny, dry and very pleasant. Monsoon hits generally in the second week of June and lasts till the end of September. During this period it rains regularly. The relative humidity is around 50%. Light woolen clothing is necessary during winter.
